Switch AUTOMATIC MODE The drive programme is calibrated to make the most of the engine’s torque and power curves, and is designed to ease the driver’s burden, especially in city driving: • early or late up-shifts based on the gas pedal’s position • no ’running-up’ of revs due to an overly-stiff torque converter • no nervous up- and down-shifts • sporty driving even without using Kick-Down • optimal acceleration with uninterrupted power delivery SWITCH-TRONIC MODE SWITCH-TRONIC provides the ability to choose one’s gear when overtaking, or to profit from compression braking when descending
