Working in the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 is an AMG V8 biturbo engine with 5.5 liters of cylinder capacity manufactured according to the AMG philosophy „One Man – One Engine“ that combines high-tech components such as a petrol direct injection with piezo injectors including fully adjustable injection pressure from 100 to 200 bar. During a flat torque curve between 2,250 and 3,750 rpm up to 900 Nm are available. The maximum performance are 430 kW (585 hp). The Mercedes-AMG SL 63 completes a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,1 seconds. The Mercedes-AMG SL 65 is powered by an AMG 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine and offers outstanding power at 463 kW (630 hp) and 1,000 Nm between 2,300 and 4,300 rpm.
