Wear eye protection.
Wear heavy gloves.
Use an assistant.
Place the part on a blanket.
Work perpendicular.
Remove any burrs.
Use touch-up paint and allow to dry.
Tighten to the specified torque.
Apply firm pressure while rolling, especially at
the ends, to set the adhesive.
Press firmly.
Clean with isopropyl alcohol.
Return the original part to the customer.
(Do not reuse.)

Secure the roof carriers.
Position the roof carriers.
NOTE
Make sure to check the labels before installation.

NOTE
Check for play or rattle by
rocking in all directions.
• Make sure that there are no gaps between the roof
and cushions.
• Tighten the left and right socket bolts alternately to
evenly distribute the pressure.
• Tighten the left and right socket bolts until you hear
a clicking sound.
8.
Ensure the roof carriers are firmly secured.
NOTE
• Make sure that there are no gaps between the roof
and cushions.
• Rock the roof carriers in all directions to check if they
are installed securely without play or rattle.
• If the roof carriers have abnormal play or rattle,
retighten the socket bolts, or reinstall the roof
carriers as described in these installation
instructions.
