The integrated premium navigation system makes life easier with the very latest technology from Alpine. Simple controls combined with an extra large 9" high-resolution touch screen and advanced navigation features lets you make the most of your in car experience. With many convenient functions onboard, driving is easier and more enjoyable—so you'll arrive at your destination feeling fresh and relaxed. High Resolution Touch Screen 3D Maps, Speed Zones and Camera Alerts Lane Guidance and Live Traffic Use the virtual keyboard on the large 9" display to input destination addresses and operate all navigation settings. You can input post codes directly too, which makes searching for a place and an address easier. What's more, the predictive text function provides faster and more accurate entries. View maps in 3D with detailed buildings and landmarks. This feature assists you with your position and makes orientation a breeze when routing through cities. The speed restriction display and speed camera warnings give you further assistance for a much safer driving experience. Lane Guidance lets you know which is the best lane to be in and prompts you to manoeuvre to a lane when approaching a turn in your planned route. TMC (Traffic Message Channel) provides Live Traffic information for avoiding traffic jams and recalculates the route if necessary. One Look Display Points of Interest (POI) Search Points of Interest (POI) Icons Alpine’s innovative “One Look” split-screen technology allows you to view the navigation map and audio playback information at one glance. This eliminates the need to switch between different applications. You can switch from full screen to One Look view with just a swipe on the display. You can easily search for POIs by category, distance and other criteria. This is helpful when looking for a restaurant or petrol station nearby. Restaurant info includes the phone number next to the address and food type—with a quick tap on the screen you can call ahead and reserve a table. The navigation system is your perfect co-pilot for those long trips to another city or town, or heading to a weekend getaway destination. With an extensive database of POIs onboard you can search for places, amenity stops, caravan and campsites, see nearby petrol stations and much more. Big Screen Entertainment The Alpine system allows you to enjoy movies, music videos or TV shows from many different sources, such as DVDs from the optional optical drive, USB sticks, the latest smartphones with HDMI output or portable video devices (optional cables or adapters are required). You can also connect your iPod® or iPhone® to enjoy your video content on the high-resolution 9-inch display. For driving safety, the video playback feature is only available if the vehicle is not in motion. The Party starts in your Commodore Your Personal Media Expert Built-in Bluetooth® Technology Connect Your Smartphone DAB+ Digital Radio DVD Player The built-in Bluetooth® module allows wireless connection of a mobile phone for handsfree communication, while frequent software updates provide compatibility with the latest smartphones. A very intuitive user interface makes operation extremely easy. Bluetooth® also enables audio streaming from the phone: audio content or even internet radio can be wirelessly enjoyed on the Alpine system. The Alpine system is compatible with the latest smartphones such as the iPhone 6S and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This offers many advantages: you can enjoy digital content stored on your phone such as music or video files, access your phonebook or simply charge your phone. You can even activate Siri® and voice-control your iPhone® for maximum comfort and driving safety. The built-in DAB+ tuner employs the most advanced digital technology to deliver radio reception with outstanding, noise-free sound quality. DAB+ also offers many other advantages over traditional FM radio: choose from a much wider range of radio stations and after the initial station scan easily select your desired channels from an alphabetic or genre list of available stations. Upgrade your Alpine Infotainment system with DVD and CD playback. The DVE-5300VF is installed into the VF Commodore Series I original drive location for perfect integration and use of the slot for loading discs. It uses HDMI technology for stunning image quality and can be fully controlled from the touch screen. VF Commodore Series II owners can upgrade to the DVD/CD drive using original equipment parts. Sound Presets Fader and Balance 10 pre-defined EQ settings allow for fast changing to different sound modes, such as Rock, Pop and Jazz. Use the touch screen to drag the crosshair to the desired location on the car interior image to make fader and balance adjustments. Professional Equalisation X-Over Digital Time Correction The X901D-VF offers extensive sound adjustment options to get the best out of your Commodore sound system and to adjust the sound to your taste and preferences. The built-in Dual 9-band Parametric EQ allows separate adjustment for the front and rear channels with professional detail. The digital crossover allows you to adjust cutoff frequencies for your speakers. This ensures a matching sound signal that can be accepted by your speakers without distortion. Time Correction allows you to virtually adjust the distance of each speaker by delaying the signals of speakers closest to you. This gives the impression of listening from a central position. Made for You The X901D-VF is a truely remarkable Alpine Style system exclusively designed for your VF Commodore. It will guide you to your desired destination, keep you entertained with the latest media played in perfect sound quality and assist you with narrow parking spots. Made for your Commodore Steering Wheel Control Buttons Alpine's system integrates with your steering wheel control buttons so you maintain full control over volume, phone functions, audio tr ack fo r w ard / b ack w ard an d many oth e r commands. You can even activate Siri® voice control if you have an iPhone® connected to the system—right from your steering wheel. Parking Sensors Alpine's vehicle integration provides factory parking sensor retention. The parking sensor system is connected to your large Alpine screen, showing a clear, convenient distance display and also provides proximity sounds w i th au to m ati c mute of the music when parking. Rear View Camera Your VF Commodore is equipped with a factory fitted rear view camera that is connected to the Alpine system as well. The camera activates automatically when reversing and displays with the park sensors, plus you can then touch the display to see the camera image in full view. Front and Side Camera Alpine enhances driver safety and convenience with the addition of an optional front and/or side camera. To view the cameras, simply press the CAM key and then select a camera you wish to view. The setup menu allows you to turn a camera on/off and set the default camera. Comfort Settings The factory system provided access to vehicle comfort preferences via its touch display. The Alpine system also integrates with the vehicle electronic systems and can therefore let you set your own vehicle comfort preferences. Suits Series I and Series II The X901D-VF Alpine Style system is surely one of the most exciting and impressive upgrades for your Holden Commodore. HVAC Display Heated Seats* The Alpine system further enriches comfort and user interaction with the Heater Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) visual display. Anytime when you adjust the temperature settings, fan speed levels, as well as ventilation settings via the factory HVAC controls, the Alpine system automatically displays the HVAC screen to show adjustments in real-time. Vehicles equipped with the factory optioned heated seats are fully compatible with the Alpine system. The included hardware enables installation of the heated seat left and right buttons into the fascia panel. Furthermore, when the heat level settings are changed from zero to three the Alpine display provides visual recognition of the set level. Vehicle Settings Bi-Modal Exhaust The factory system provided access to vehicle settings for important vehicle functions and preferences via its touch display. The Alpine system also integrates with these electronic systems. Via the Alpine system and its Vehicle Settings menu you can easily setup climate and comfort preferences, park assist and collision detection systems, as well as ambient lighting and door lock systems. Series II high performance VF Commodores are equipped with Holden's mechanical Bi-Modal Exhaust sound enhancement. This factory fitted equipment is fully compatible with the Alpine system. Via the Vehicle Settings menu you can set Bi-Modal Exhaust to either on or off. *Available soon.
