During growth, plants absorb significant amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere. Engine combustion of Bio-ethanol effectively ‘recycles’ this CO2, making it available for new crops to grow. As a result of this renewal process, use of Bio-ethanol has the potential to significantly reduce vehicle CO2 emissions when compared to petrol. A clean burning, renewable energy source that contains up to 85% ethanol, Bio-ethanol not only shrinks emissions, it actually enhances engine performance.
