Release notes for Toyota Pro-Ace parts catalogue.
This is release 0.4 of the Pro-Ace catalogue. (May 17th, 2013)
The major change of this release are the new group categories. They are now much closer to the
known Toyota catalogue groups and above all much more user-friendly.
You will find the detail of the groups at the bottom of this document.
This is release 0.3 of the all-new Pro-Ace catalogue. (April 23rd, 2013)
This new parts catalogue has a different structure, lay-out and operating mode compared to any
current Toyota catalogue. The functionality is, also, different and not quite as advanced as
Microcat.
On the other hand, the way the catalogue operates is very simple.
The current release lets you do both a search on Katashiki and a manual selection of vehicle
specifications (Engine, transmission, body specs, driving position). If you know and fill in the
Katashiki, the major car features will be automatically filled in the boxes. If you then change one
of the parameters, the Katashiki will be reset to blank.
When you’re done with the basic feature selection (either Katashiki or manual), you select the
Main Group ,then the Sub –Group from drop-down boxes.
Once you’ve selected the sub-group, the application will take you to the page concerned. The
page displays the illustration on the left hand side and the parts info on the right hand side.
Caution: Pay attention that each manual filter is searching within its specific
vehicle feature only! The combined search result doesn’t show an overall
combined features result! Furthermore, by combining features, you might create a
combination that doesn’t exist in real life.
When you hover over the illustration, a magnifying glass will pop up.
The illustration is NOT interactive, meaning the item numbers are not clickable.
Here below you will find a sample page showing you the different elements that are important for
parts interpretation.

Caution: It happens regularly that a sub-group contains more than one illustration. In such case
clicking the arrow at the top right will lead you to the next or previous illustration.
Example:
The arrows have, also, another functionality:
In case the sub-group has different part(s) depending on model variant, the part number variants
will be shown on a next page. It is therefore very important you check the available pages for a
given sub-group in order to make sure you are not missing out on a variant.
Example:
In the above examples you can see that the sub-group remains the same, but the engine type is
different (engine type is circled in red)
Here below you will find a table showing you all groups and sub-groups in full.
