We recommend the Scosche SAC656 speaker adapter. REAR SPEAKERS: Rear Door: 6 x 9" 4-Hole speaker Depth 20" When installing an aftermarket 5 ¼” or 6 ½” speakers, a speaker adapter is needed. We recommend the Scosche SA69 speaker adapter. AT 800-363-4490 1999-2003 DAEWOO LEGANZA PRELIMINARY: Disconnect the negative battery cable. ANTENNA: The factory antenna is located atop the driver’s side rear fender. RADIO REMOVAL AND IN-DASH INSTALLATION: Note: The factory stereo provision is for a Double DIN size radio. 1. Using a small angled pick carefully pull on far corners of the radio bezel. Extract (4) Phillips head screws holding radio. Disconnect and remove. FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 7” 4-Hole speaker mounted in a factory speaker adapter, and a 1 ½” tweeter. When installing an aftermarket 5 ¼” or 6 ½” speaker, a speaker adapter is required. We recommend the use of a Scosche SAC656 speaker adapter. Driver 1. Extract (5) Phillips head screws from perimeter of door panel. 2. Extract (1) Phillips head screw from door grabber cup. 3. Use small pick and release door cup at locking mechanism, top and bottom off door opener. 4. Carefully lift upwards on door panel. 5. Extract (4) Phillips head screw from speaker, disconnect and remove. Tweeter 1. Using a small pick release left and right side by pressing inwards and lifting up. Disconnect and remove. REAR DECK SPEAKER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION: Note: The factory speaker provision is for a 6 x 9" 4-Hole speaker. When installing an aftermarket 5 ¼ or 6 ½” speaker a speaker adapter is required. We recommend the use of a Scosche SA69 Speaker adapter. 1. Using a panel removal tool extract (3) plastic fasteners from rear deck. 2. Disconnect third brake light and extract (2) 8 mm nuts holding it in place. 3. Use your knee and release the bottom seat cushion. 4. Remove entire seat assembly. 5. Lift upwards and out on rear deck. 6. Extract (4) Phillips head screws from speaker, disconnect and remove. NOTE: THIS MANUAL IS BASED ON CAREFULLY DOCUMENTED RESEARCH.
